Meet Chloe Cochrane
Chloe Cochrane is the founder of Blast: On Campus and Confetti by Blast. She's a freshman at Southern Methodist University, and she's from Lakeville, Minnesota!
The idea started on a campus tour. Chloe kept noticing the flyers and club meeting signs taped to every wall and bulletin board, and figured there had to be a better way to do this. A better way for students to actually find what was happening around them. That became Blast: On Campus.
The reason it mattered to her was simple. After transferring high schools, she knew firsthand how hard it can be to feel at home somewhere new and find your people. So she built Blast for students who want to feel genuinely connected to their campus, not just enrolled in it.
Confetti grew out of the same idea. Chloe has always loved writing and magazines, and she wanted an editorial home for the same people Blast is for. Blast tells you where to be. Confetti covers everything around it: what to wear, what went down, who to know, the whole world surrounding the events. The two feed right into each other!
Confetti was never meant to be separate from the events. It's the rest of the story, made by someone who's living it too.
She's just getting started in Dallas, and she's glad you're here for it!
What Confetti covers
Press is the writing: essays, opinions, and the occasional hot take. Dress Code is what to wear to formals, game day, and everything on the calendar, all shoppable (chosen by our editors, never paid placement). Seen is your campus, social: the recaps, the people worth knowing, and the content you tagged us in.
Want to write for Confetti?
Confetti is built around Campus Editors who cover their own schools. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
